We are delighted with the plans to expand the North Amherst Library, adding rest rooms and a community meeting room to the north end of the library. The renovation will also make the library ADA compliant. We hope to hold a zoom community meeting very soon to share the plans, skillfully designed by Kuhn Riddle. The proposed addition complements the Queen Anne style of the current library, one of the oldest buildings in Amherst. This is only possible thanks to a generous anonymous donor who loves the North Amherst library.
